Voting System Testing Update

The “Voting System Testing Update” blog is an effort to keep everyone informed of the progress systems in the EAC’s Testing and Certification Program are making each week.  We hope that this adds additional transparency to our process and allows stakeholders to get a weekly update about test campaigns that impact their jurisdiction.

Voting Systems Under Test:  

ClearBallot Group ClearVote 1.4.   Testing continues on this system. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

Dominion Democracy Suite DVS 5.5.  EAC approved the application for the testing of this system on July 5, 2017. Ryan Macias will be the project manager on this test campaign.

ES&S EVS 6.0.0.0.  On June 5, 2017, the EAC approved the application for the ES&S EVS 6.0.0.0 voting system. This is a new voting system and will be tested to the 2005 VVSG 1.0.  If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. ES&S EVS 6.2.0.0. ES&S terminated this application and test campaign on October 2, 2017.

MicroVote EMS 4.2. EAC approved Rev. C of the Test Plan on September 14, 2017. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

Unisyn OpenElect 2.0.  EAC staff forwarded the recommendation and initial certification decision documents to the EAC Executive Director on October 11, 2017.
